Yevrin was very happy to be back in civilization, especially after the ordeal in the swamp. The city was where she belonged, with plenty of people with unguarded purses, and side streets and alleys in which to disappear into. However, she could not let herself be distracted from her true goal. She had to find that jerk, Boon, and force him to pay her back the money he owed her. So she was currently plastering the central part of town with wanted posters, hoping that she would be able to get some leads. He had to be here somewhere, and it annoyed her greatly that he had been able to elude her for this long. Her mood was not improved by the constant company of Swaizzo. Her patience was nearing its end, but she could not do anything about him, since to do anything to him would be picking on the weak, which she would not do. She finished putting up another poster, and turned to him, and said, "You don't need to stay with me. All I'm going to do is look for this guy who owes me money and you've already said you haven't seen him. I'm sure you have better things to do."

Takashi spotted a woman, with a somewhat strange creature tagging along, putting up what seemed to be wanted posters. She looked annoyed and as though she could use some help. He started walking towards her from where he was observing, with a slight smile on his face hoping he could help. He approached her and asked, 'Miss? Would I be able to provide any assistance?'.

Swaizzo had been strolling close beside Yevrin ever since he had managed to lead them both out of the Bayou, refusing to let her alone until he'd followed through with his plan. Yevrin had courageously stepped in between he and the swamp monster and had saved his life. This deed was something Swaizzo refused to ignore, and he was determined to repay her for her bravery. However, telling her that he wanted to repay her hadn’t had the effect he was looking for. Instead, he'd convince her by other means...Namely, relentless pestering. In the next moment, his attention was taken from Yevrin by a boy whom he'd never seen in town before. Normally he would exchange pleasantries with a visitor to Lamiere, but this time was different. This boy wanted to help Yevrin and Swaizzo had made that his sole duty... "It's okay kid," he said, stepping between the boy and Yevrin, "I've got things taken care of here." He waved at him with a petty shooing motion, hoping that that would be enough to deter his effort.

Yevrin resisted the urge to kick the annoying creature. Here was a man that was offering to help her, and Swaizzo was driving him away. She could possibly manipulate this man into doing her work for her, or at the very least, steal his purse from him. More importantly, he could possibly have information on Boon or his whereabouts. Nothing was going to interfere with her hunt, especially this irritating creature that never seemed to leave her alone. "Do not be so rude Swaizzo," she scolded him lightly. Then, putting on a charming smile, she directed her attention toward the newcomer, and replied sweetly, "You may possibly be of some help. Have you seen this jerk? Or have any information on him at all? It is really important to me that I find him and any information you could give me would be a great help."

Giving the odd looking creature a quirk of an eyebrow, he turned to the young woman. 'I'm sorry, I havn't seen him on my way here. But if you wish, I do not mind in helping you find him.' He gave a small smile and a shrug. 'It wouldn't be any problem, I don't have much to do anyways.'

Swaizzo watched helplessly as he was slowly removed from the scene. It was obvious that Yervin didn't want his company, but it was becoming increasingly difficult to stay with her despite that fact, what with the boy's readiness to help her. Swaizzo knew that he couldn't find Yevrin's debtor for her, but he doubted that this stranger could either. He was going to find a way to repay her for saving him, and he certainly wasn't about to let this 'saintly' human interfere... "Oh come on!" Swaizzo moaned, throwing his arms down at his side indignantly, "I can probably help you out better than he can! I know this town like the back of my own hand -- I'd take you to all the places people are likely to be!" He declared this confidently, resting his hands on his waist with a stubborn frown.

'I must not pick on the weak. I must not pick on the weak.' Yevrin repeated the thought to herself to refrain from hurting Swaizzo, as she let her frustration out on the wanted poster she was holding, tearing it to shreds. He would not leave her alone, and other than leading her to town, had not been of much use to her. As if that were not bad enough, he also seemed intent on not letting anyone else that could possibly help her do so. Taking a calming breath, she said "I repeat Swaizzo, you should not be so rude. This kind man has done nothing other than offer his help. As well, as I understand it, this is a central part of town, where the greater majority of people would walk through. Thus the odds of the Jerk or someone who's seen him walking through here are one of the highest, so staying in this area is to the greatest advantage to my search." Taking another breath, she went back to her charming personality, and smiled winningly at the man. "It really is good of you to offer to help me, especially since we've never had the pleasure of meeting before. My name is Yevrin. And yours would be...?"

He blinked as he watched ...what was her name? Right. Yevrin. Tear the wanted poster into tiny little pieces. After she had muttered something to the strange creature beside her, he felt a slight blush rise to his face when she had turned to speak to him. 'Uh...uh, my name is Takashi.' He turned away slightly, wondering exactly why he was getting so embarassed. Muttering, he said, 'Helping you is no problem, I just want to be of assistance.'

Yevrin smiled as she saw Takasi blush. The easily embarrassed were always very amusing to play with. She leaned over and lightly cupped his cheek so she could turn his head back to face her, making him look her in the eyes. "Takashi... that's a very nice name," she said coquettishly. Then, letting her hand fall slowly from his face, she took his hand in hers. "If it really is no trouble to you, Takashi, then I would deeply appreciate your help in putting up wanted posters for me," she said coyly, tilting her head and giving him a small smile as she placed several posters in his grasp.

Swaizzo scrunched his nose and stuck his tongue out scornfully at the pair. He didn't care for this petty flirtatiousness, and he was doing his best to make it rather obvious at the moment. "Oh please..." He muttered bitterly under his breath, watching as Yevrin took Takashi's hand in hers, "What the hell is this, a romance novel?" Stalking over to them, he reached out and snatched a stray poster from the stack Takashi had just received. "I'll put these up if it means that much to you!" Swaizzo stated impatiently, waving the wanted poster in his fist with a scowl. His patience was wearing thin what with all these distractions around, but he wasn't about to give up just yet... When Swaizzo made up his mind about something, it was very rare he ever quit on it.

It took nearly every ounce of self-control Yevrin possessed in order to prevent herself from killing Swaizzo right then and there. Getting a man to do something for you through flirting was a fine art, which largely depended on appearance and mood, and Swaizzo had just killed any mood she had created. She let go of Takashi's hand, leaving him holding her posters, and turned to face Swaizzo, taking calming breaths to keep herself from screeching at him. "You'll put them up will you?" she asked with a hint of a sneer. "Then do you intend to run off to get a stool before you do so? Really, if I thought that you could help me put up posters I would have asked you long before now. Or did you believe I was having you hang about doing nothing for my own enjoyment? And don't start interfering if I try to enlist the aid of someone else who is willing to assist me. If you are so bored then you are free to do your own thing, you are not obligated to stay with me."

The blush deepened as he felt her hand on his cheek and hand. He drew back and held the posters tightly. "Uuuh, it's really no problem. In fact, I'll start right now!" Hastly, he unrolled the posters and started to step away. He then turned to the odd creature. "We've never been formally introduced. My name is Takashi, nice to meet you." Giving a smile in hope that this creature would stop hating on him, he stuck out his free hand. "Maybe it'd be faster if we both put the posters up, together?"

Swaizzo glanced suspiciously over to where Takashi stood. He regarded the boy's out-stretched hand for a brief moment, scutinizing it until he finally turned away with distaste. "I think I can handle it myself," Swaizzo lightly retorted over his shoulder. Then turning to Yevrin, he stated rather crossly, "And no, I will not be needing a stool to put these up...I'm fine as it is." Marching away from the two with a poster in hand, he tried his best to maintain as much dignity as he could and pasted the tattered paper unto the door of a local shop. He paid no heed to the fact that his was placed significantly closer to the ground than the ones Yevrin had put up earlier.

He sighed again. 'Well, I tried... He glanced at Swaizzo and in the other direction, started putting up the posters as well. Through the corner of his eye, he observed the fact that the creature's posters were kind of...lower, and stiffled a small laugh.

Yevrin simply stood back and watched as her work was done for her. True, the way she had managed this feat had not gone according to her original plan, but she was not going to complain. She had thought she would have to slightly seduce Takashi into doing the work, but him doing it out of sheer discomfort worked just as well. Although she was a bit disappointed she had not had a chance to get close enough to pickpocket him. As well, the more Swaizzo was annoyed, the sooner he would probably give up and leave her. She smiled, content with how everything had worked out for her.
