Oblivious to the current happenings in the square, Boon made his way through the emptying streets with an unusually content attitude. During his time in Lamiere so far, he’d been relieved to note that Yevrin seemed to be missing from the picture these past few days. He had no doubt that she would’ve tried to follow him into whatever realm he went, but he couldn't fathom how Yevrin, a magicless human, could manage such a feat. He grinned proudly at this thought, suffering from the illusion that he was the only being in existence with dimension-crossing powers. Slowing his pace for a moment, he took notice of something peculiar posted on a shop window. He stopped all together, finally recognizing the sheet of worn paper as a wanted poster. It wasn't this fact alone that froze him in shock, however, but rather what was on it... "What the hell is this?!" he cried angrily, not hesitating to tear his own wanted-poster off the window and toss it to the ground. Yevrin -- that was the only explanation needed for this great insult! He turned and peered down the remainder of the street, horrified to see that a trail of posters lined the shops ahead of him. And, as if that wasn’t enough, there in the near distance stood the madwoman herself, along with a boy and some sort of hybrid. He stared in astonishment for a long moment before the realization that he'd finally been caught up with registered. Stiffly, he turned away from them and began to slink back up the way he came. If he kept quiet, then perhaps Yevrin would never notice that he'd been there and he could keep his money for that much longer...

A feeling nagged at Yevrin as she watched Swaizzo and Takashi put up the posters. It was not a feeling of guilt or any other similar emotion, but a sensation. Such as feeling that she was missing something, or that someone was watching her. Trusting her instinct, she quickly turned around, her hand on the hilt of her sword, but there was no one behind her. Yet that uneasy feeling remained. She scanned the street for people looking in her direction, but other than the few individuals who were curious about the posters being put up, there was no one. She looked back at her two laborers, and saw that nothing was out of the ordinary with them as well. But she knew there had to be something that she was missing. She searched the street more thoroughly, for anything suspicious or unnatural. That was when she spotted the back of a very familiar head walking away from her direction. She reached over and grabbed a wanted poster and looked at it, at the back of the head, then back at the poster. "It's him," she said quietly to herself as a smile crept across her face. Not wasting another moment, she took off down the street, half walking, half running, chasing after her debtor. Silently, she stalked her prey, and when she was close enough, she ran the rest of the distance. She jumped him, and caught him in a half hug, half strangle hold, around his neck. Ecstatic from finally catching him, she yelled out, in a tone that could possibly be considered happy, "Jerk!...um, Boon!"

The instant Yevrin wrapped her arms around his neck (and nearly choked him in the process), Boon’s shoulders stiffened and he reached up to grab her constricting arms. "Do you mind?" He coughed aloud, prying her off of his shoulders with an expression of obvious frustration. Clearly, his shallow plot to simply sneak off in the other direction had failed, and now there was little else he could do to avoid surrendering his debt to her. Pressing his hand to his face in aggravation, he turned to her and groaned miserably, "I suppose you’ll want that money now won’t you," he glared at her through his parted fingers. "It’s quite a shame, seeing as I don’t have any on me at the moment…" Lying was the only other option he had at his disposal now, and he wasn’t about to lose the one chance to use it. Letting his hand drop back to his side, he swung his staff over his shoulder with the other. "In the meantime, I'm sure we can just get on with our lives and you can scurry back to wherever you came from...Certainly you haven't been following me this entire time, have you?" He laughed scornfully at her, despite knowing full well that he'd been running from her this entire time.

The joy Yevrin had had upon finding Boon quickly wore off, as she was forcefully reminded of why she hated him and his infuriating attitude. She stood stoically, hands on her hips, as she listened to his excuses. Her lips tightened in anger when he mocked her efforts in finding him. It was true that she had spent basically all of her time looking for him, and she saw nothing wrong with ruthlessly hunting down a debtor. However, the thought that he thought that he had slighted her aggravated her. So she decided to try to shrug off the comment as if it was nothing at all. "Why should I, personally, spend my valuable time looking for you when I could have others do it for me?" she asked nonchalantly, motioning toward the row of wanted posters. Then, piercing him with an icy stare, she accused coldly, "As for the money, we both no you're lying. You have money that it rightfully mine, and I demand that you give it to me. No excuses."

As he finished putting up the posters Yevrin had thrust into his hand, he turned around to tell she he was done, but...where'd she go? He squinted and scanned the busy area. As he couldn't spot her, he turned to Swaizzo, tapped his shoulder, and muttered, "Can you see her? I think she left us..."

Swaizzo sighed irritably, "What do you mean she left us?" He finished pasting the last poster onto a street light and turned to where Yevrin had been only moments ago. He was rather surprised to see that Takashi was correct... "Hay! Where'd she go?" He demanded rather angrily. How could she just leave the two behind without even thanking them for their generous work? Shielding his eyes from the setting sun with his arm, he proceeded to scan the streets for any signs of Yevrin, insulted that she'd left them so abruptly. "This is totally ridiculous!" Swaizzo moaned as he stalked through the square in a huff.

Boon grinned nervously at Yevrin’s accusations, trying his best to look unabashed by the fact that she’d seen through his lies. "But I’m afraid it’s true," he persisted on with an innocent shrug, "I’ve left all of my money back in Aeon, where it belongs. If you absolutely must have it, then you’re just going to have to wait until I return there." His smirk grew wider, convinced that Yevrin could never actually prove him a liar. Although this thought reaffirmed his confidence somewhat, he figured it was probably a wise idea to change the subject anyhow. Peering over Yevrin’s shoulder, he took notice of the pair of workers he’d seen with her earlier. "Who are they?" He asked, cocking an eyebrow, "And why is that one over there following you?" He pointed his thumb over to where the humanoid rodent was marching down the street, looking slightly annoyed but purposeful. "Really, has he lost his mind? Surely he has much better things to do with his time than chase you around all day." Boon remarked sardonically, casting his gaze back to Yevrin with the slightest sneer.

'I wish,' Yevrin thought sadly to herself as she looked over her shoulder to confirm the truth for herself. She sighed as she saw Swaizzo coming down the street after her. She turned back to Boon, her irritation increasing another notch knowing that she would now have to deal with Swaizzo, as soon as he caught up, and Boon at the same time. In an annoyed tone, she answered, "The man is Takashi, who decided to help purely out of the goodness of his heart. Something I'm sure you've never done. And the other one...is Swaizzo...and he, well -so what if he does follow me around? What does it matter to you? Quit changing the subject! I'm not an idiot to fall for a simple trick such as that!" She crossed her arms over her chest, and gave him a hard look as she continued, "I find it very hard to believe that a pompous jerk like you would walk around without any money on him. You're just too much of a cheapskate to actually payback your debts, so you lie, because you also have no moral character. Hand over my money now."

"Oi! Yevrin!" Swaizzo shouted as he neared, a tightly-wound temper clenching his fists at his side. "What do you think you’re doing just ditching us like that?" He practically interrogated her as he stepped between she and her apparent debtor, pointing his finger accusingly at her. "We’ve finished putting up your posters, you know." Then turning to the wanted man himself, he glanced at him up and down with an air curiosity, but little concern. He certainly matched the image on the array of wanted posters plastered across the square... It was all somewhat comical, the more Swaizzo thought about the situation. Judging by the great deal of trouble Yevrin had endured to arrive here, along with the absurd amount of posters she'd brought, she had been absolutely obsessed with finding this man. All that effort couldn’t have been spent simply to take his money and leave... "So, what’s going on with you guys anyway?" He returned his attention to Yevrin, a playful grin now in the place of his frown – he couldn’t help but take this opportunity to make a few jokes while he had the chance. "Could it be - you two are some kind of quarrelling couple? Oh god, I can see it now!" Swaizzo could only howl with laughter at the thought, clutching his stomach and pointing amusedly at the wanted man.

Yevrin was rendered speechless for a moment, completely dumbfounded that anything that possessed a brain could assume that she and the Jerk could be a couple. Then a wave of fury hit her as her mind registered that the comment had in truth been made, and was not some horrible hallucination. Her first instinct was to draw her sword and kill Swaizzo right there for having spoken such blasphemous words. However, she caught herself just in time so that instead of her hand clasping her sword hilt, it covered her mouth. She screamed into her hand, letting it smother the sound and make incomprehensible the profanities and curses that accompanied her verbal release of anger. She stomped her foot repeatedly, pummeling the ground in place of the idiotic creature she could not touch. She could not stand being in Swaizzo's presence a second longer. Her patience with him had been worn out before, but now, six feet underground would not be enough distance to place between herself and him. She could not even look at him without her anger returning double-fold, if that was possible. Instead, she looked at Boon, and having just managed to retain control of her words, managed to spit out the words, "You. You owe me a favour. You want to repay that now," she demanded more than asked as her body slightly shook from constrained rage.

Although Swaizzo’s remark about he and Yevrin dating eachother confounded him eternally, he hadn’t the time to retort to the creature before Yevrin seemed to go completely mad before him... He watched dazedly as she screamed and stamped the ground in rage, quite amazed that this creature had actually managed to upset her more than he ever had done. "Eh – yes?" Boon answered Yevrin’s demand with a slight stammer. He still remembered the agreement they’d came to after the ordeal some weeks before. In return for Yevrin having saved his life, he had consented to remain in her debt until he could manage to help her in some form or another. That time had now come, apparently. "What -- you want me to get rid of this thing?" Boon presumed and pointed to Swaizzo, who was now in a great state of dread after seeing Yevrin’s furious reaction to his comment. "Because I really don’t think that will be much of a problem. One quick blow to the head and he'll be gone for good." He glared at the irritating hybrid with a grimace. He certainly wouldn't mind spilling the pest's blood himself after the insult he had delt. Swinging his staff over his shoulder, he held it much like he would a bat and prepared to veer it straight into Swaizzo's skull.

"Wait!" Yevrin yelled as she saw Boon prepare to kill the annoying creature. She quickly drew her sword in case she needed to parry Boon's swing to protect Swaizzo. As much as she detested him at this moment, she still could not let a weakling like him be killed in front of her. "Yes I want you to get rid of him. He will not leave me alone, and as he has just demonstrated, he is very annoying company. But I do not want you to hurt him or kill him," she explained.

Boon groaned noisily. "Well I think that's rather stupid...I'd have thought you would want him dead by now." He let his arm drop back to his side listlessly; disappointed that he couldn't be rid of Swaizzo via his own methods. "If you won't let me kill him, then the only other thing I can do is remove him from this place -- which isn't very fun to do at all..." Taking a few steps backwards, he left a sufficient amount of distance between he and Yevrin and grabbed hold of Swaizzo's arm, gruffly pulling the creature to his side. With his other hand, he heaved his staff up over his head and then swung it back down to the solid street with great force. No impact was heard, however – the end of the staff now hung in the center of an opening portal – a window leading into some other realm, or at the very least another location on Lamiere. The cascading hole was ominously black, spinning wider and wider with every passing moment. Certainly it would instill some sort of terror into the annoying hybrid creature... "Okay, off you go." Boon declared nonchalantly. With little effort, he thrust Swaizzo forward and shoved him over the dark portal. Gravity was expected to do the rest. The hybrid hardly had time to say a word before he fell backwards into the vortex, off to god-knows-where. "Is that good enough for you?" He spoke coolly over Swaizzo's fading cries, "If that's all then I suppose I'll be going..."

Yevrin watched as Swaizzo disappeared into the vortex, and out of her life. A small smile came to her face at that thought. Though this method was not the safest, for she had no idea where the portal Boon opened led to, she decided that it was not her problem anymore. She could not undo what had been done anyway, even if she wanted to. She looked up sharply at Boon when he mentioned leaving. "No that is not all," she said harshly. "You have repaid your favour, but there is still the matter of your monetary debt. Or have you forgotten how you bent my sword and promised to pay for its repairs, which were very expensive. Until you do, you aren't going anywhere," she said as she pointed her sword at him.

"Let's not be hasty here..." Boon retorted as composedly as he could with that notorious sword aimed straight at him. He bitterly recalled how it had gotten caught in his mechanical innards when Yevrin had ran him through. And indeed, as a result of that incidence, he'd removed it himself and bent the blade with his own two hands, right before her eyes. There was no denying that part... By now, it was becoming obvious that no matter how many times Boon claimed to be without money, Yevrin would refuse to leave him. At one point he'd even considered jumping into the portal after Swaizzo, but logic and a desire to remain alive stopped him from ever carrying out that action. The vortex was disappearing as it was, anyway... His eyes fell to the sword once again, and at last, after a myriad of ideas were tossed aside, one finally struck him as feasable... "You know Yevrin," He began again, suddenly feigning a look of concern, "I don't think that repair-job you paid for was entirely worth the money..." Leaning forward to look more closely at the polished blade, he cocked an eyebrow and made it seem as though he'd spotted some sort of discrepancy. "It looks to me like your metal-worker has left a dent in it..."
