{aren't you glad I created this? i didn't know if you did so i made one myself -_-}
Dearg walked amongst the streets of the living folk, staring straight ahead at nothing in particular. He continued to walk in a straight line, his eyes unfocused...watching nothing and looking for nothing. He had nothing to search for but an exit and those would be difficult to come by. If he could find a portal from this world to another it would be by chance...and the percentage was small. Almost a 0.0000067% chance of him finding a portal in the next week. So he had time to spare and at the moment...that time was filled solely with walking. Walking in a straight line, not straying from this line. One foot in front of the other, again and again and again.
Great God this was dull, he could not help but think. His eyes lifted from their location, looking for anything beautiful to catch his eye. Nothing. No human or creature worth his time and effort to torment. Pathetic. This world was filled with pathetic beings, mortal, made of dust. They would soon be dead and he would still be walking...unless he found that portal. Then he would be walking on another world, looking for a chance to make it his own.
He would have continued walking through the scrapyard but unfortunately a being was now blocking his path. Dearg sighed, rolling his shoulders as he came to a stop. "Please move before I remove your presence from this plane," he uttered in a low and calm, yet threatening voice.

[Yeah yeah, ya bum. XD]
This being, who was in no mood to stir from his current resting-place among the trash, paid little heed to the temperamental threat. Instead, he curled further into a shadowy mass upon the ground, purring discontentedly at his being disturbed. Erebus had been fortunate enough to find shelter in this quaint, costal town after his valiant escape from the Netherworld, and was now rewarding himself by taking a much-needed catnap in the most desolate location in Abastecimiento. He was disappointed, however, to find that this place was not as desolate as first suspected… "Do you mind…?" He grumbled lazily, shifting very slightly in his coiled position. He turned his dark face upwards to the impatient one, pried open one very tired eye, and was instantly struck with amazement at the face he was met with. "Dearg!" Erebus cried, spiraling up from the ground and coming to stand on two very human-like legs. "I should have known it was you! God, how long has it been since our time in Hell?" He swept both his arms outward in an extravagant greeting, a toothy grin running up either side of his face. "Don't tell me you've forgotten your old friend already!" Although he was somewhat disappointed that his nap would have to wait for a later date, his meeting Dearg here was undoubtedly much more interesting than the former.

Dearg's eyes severed themselves from the spot in the distance, the particular spot that was being blocked as of right now. Moving his tongue into his cheek he bit it harshly, feeling the blood pool in his mouth. It tried to escape out from between his lips but he sucked it back tensely. This creature was talking to him with such a friendly attitude. He felt the nick in his tongue heal up properly and he swallowed the blood swiftly.
His purple tinted eyes looked up and found himself looking at a cat...a cat standing on two feet with wide pointed jaws. And was that a snake tongue in his mouth? Dearg arched an eyebrow at the oddity. Did he just call him a 'friend'? Where in hell had that come from?
"Who are you?" he questioned, giving the creature an intense stare. Now that he considered it...he could recall this kind of creature in his memories. Though he did happen to forget lots of people over the years he had lived. Only the beautiful ones stuck in his mind and this thing was not beautiful...worth forgetting he had to admit.

Erebus, shocked to the core with offense, scoffed in painfully obvious disbelief. "What? You don’t remember me? Erebus?" He cried dismally, shaking his head and placing three clawed fingers over his chest. "The nerve of some people! And after all we’ve been through in the Netherworld…" What a terrible way to greet a friend, Erebus thought with a twinge of annoyance. He certainly had no trouble recalling Dearg, and took great resentment in the other’s forgetfulness. Placing his hand gingerly on his hip, he leaned in close and brought his face inches from Dearg’s. "Don’t you remember anything?" He snarled in a low, resonating voice. "I met you in the gave yard of Eventide town; I fought you there; I totally won, too!" He curled his shadowy hand into a fist and shook it triumphantly, disregarding the fact that his last comment was not necessarily completely accurate. "Hn, you disappoint me, Dearg..."

Dearg stared at the creature blankly for a moment, taking the time to gnaw thoughtfully on the inside of his cheek. They had met in hell, yes he could recall going to a place of that name. They had fought, that made a lot of sense for he fought many in multiple worlds. People seemed to enjoy testing his power. However, the last comment could not be true in the least. Dearg never lost a fight, how could he: being immortal softened the odds. What could cause this monstrosic being to think that it could overpower him...unless.
Lifting a finger he tapped Erebus' nose with a malicious smirk on his lips. "Now I remember you, though my thoughts recall a different ending. I appears as though I remember a stale mate...for both of us could not cause the other to die." Narrowing his eyes he continued to sneer in the cat's direction.
"Yes," he chortled, "You arrogant beast, neither of us won. Though I don't appreciate such lies as a greeting message. Now," he waved his hand, "Move aside so we can keep this meeting short."

"Not so fast," Erebus demanded sharply, however resumed his usual cool air immediatly afterwards, "Why part ways so suddenly? I’m sure we have so much to catch up on…" It had occurred to Erebus that his meeting Dearg here could actually prove much more useful than just mere entertainment purposes. He was a fugitive, having escaped his own home realm, and was currently being hunted down ruthlessly by a pair of unusually persistent spirits. He would not stand for this much longer, and it would be particularly easy to do so if he met them with an ally…An immortal one at that. "My good man, what do you say to helping an old friend in need again, hn?" He questioned casually, stretching his striped arm out behind Dearg and draping it over his shoulders. "I recall your expertise coming in useful before...So why not a second time?"

Dearg took in a steady breath, shifting his stance slightly and thrusting his hands into his pockets of his jackets. Erebus was using some proper phrases such as: 'your expertise'...wait, that was only a single phrase and the others seemed...demanding. He had no interest in helping Erebus out with his problems. He had problems of his own...finding a world to dominate and control being one of them and he wanted to do that on his own. He certainly had enough power to.
"I'm flattered, really," he replied bluntly and his tone did not reflect the feelings meant to be implied in his words. "But I see no reason to interfere in your life's problems. You're immortal, you should need none of my assistance." He shrugged his shoulders and looked at the cat blocking his path. Erebus was not going to move...what a bother. Furthermore, he couldn't seem to think of anything else to interest Dearg in these matters.
He stepped to the side finally, banishing himself to a different path that existed to his right. "Good bye Erebus," he said with an exasperated sigh.
