Zentesh streatched his arms to the sky and tried to catch the leaves falling from the trees. Autumn had finally come to Lamiere, blazing the Ember forest with spectacular colors of reds, oranges and yellows. No wonder this forest was called Ember. It seemed the whole forest was wrapped in a cold fire.
Zentesh continued to walk along through the paths in the forest, kicking up leaves as he went. The world seemed to be alive with the falling leaves yet at peace. Soon the snow would cover the leaves in white but now he stood to enjoy the colors.

Sebastian was gently grazing the canopy of the forest while patiently waiting for Swaizzo to give him the right directions to the Bayou Swamp. With no immediate heading, Sebastian started to play with the drifting leaves; chasing, nipping, and batting at them. Suddenly a strong wind picked up enticing loose leaves to dance, and fly into Sebastian's eyes.
"Aaah! My eyes. Swaizzo! Get it out, get it out!" cried Sebastian in a panicked flurry of feathers and claws. Unfortunately with his eyes out of commission combined with his frantic motions, his previously gentle course became erratic and jerky weaving through the heart of the tree tops. Seemingly heedless of Swaizzo's warnings, Sebastian made a beeline for the unlucky individual wandering the forest floor.

Zentesh continued to walk along, unaware that the griffon was flying above him until he heard it scream. It was a faint echo as the wind blew to strongly for him to hear it well and all it sounded like was a squak of crows.
He looked up for only a second before noticing the creature flying straight towards him. By then it was too late to do anything but stare.

"Sebastian! Pull up -- pull up!" Swaizzo cried in a panic, immediately releasing the tattered map he held in his hands in order to grab hold of Seb's feathers. He shut his eyes tight, but before he had any time to truly ready himself for the oncoming impact, he and Sebastian veered straight into the unwary forest visitor. The trio hurtled to the ground in an upsurge of leaves, skidding slightly before they came to an eventual stop in the dirt. Swaizzo, who had been tossed off of Sebastian’s back in the collision, opened his eyes groggily only to find himself lying on his back with a face full of leaves. "God damn it!" He cursed furiously, pushing himself off the ground and coming to stand on his sorely scuffed legs. "Don't you listen? I told you to go up! UP!" He pointed an angry finger to the forest canopy, addressing Sebastian who had landed just a little a head of him. It was then that Swaizzo finally spotted the creature they’d knocked over on their unfortunate crash-landing. "Uho, sorry 'bout that..." He managed to mutter, grinning sheepishly as he gazed over to where the crocodile creature lay.

...damn it... I told you...UP! The voices scrambled through Zentesh's brain as he faught to stay concious. He shook his head and reach up to the back. Stars flashed in his vision as he shook his head again. The blow had hit him in the front of the face, then he remembered... summersaulting.
He realized suddenly that the strange creature had talked to him. He looked up. It was a strange looking pair. He had never seen a creature like that before. The griffon looked a little embarassed and he shook his head.
"What did you say?" He asked finally.
