King wanted a new loaf of long, pointy bread. He had unintentionally chewed his last one down to a mere stump, momentarily having forgotten that he needed it to brandish at visitors. It had also inconveniently slipped his mind that he had a whole jar full of assorted brandishing tools next to his make-shift throne. So as a result of extreme forgetfulness, King made a decision to set out in search of a new loaf of bread in the Merchant Alley.
However, there was an unavoidable issue at hand. No matter how much he thought he could read, he could not alter reality. And the reality was, "Bread Shop" was most certainly not spelled M-A-S-K S-H-O-P.
Still, luckily for King, he was a fool. And his foolishly small mind had become so overwhelmed by the colours that greeted him, that he forgot his original task the very moment in which he would have realized he made a mistake.
With his eyes blinking rapidly in a stupor, he felt a twitching urge to steal begin to run up and down his fingers. King took one greedy look around the store, found the most attention-catching object he could see, and made up his mind. He plastered a giant, cheerful grin over his face as he made his way towards his new target, leaving any thoughts of bread long behind.

Seeking shelter from the chilly autumn weather - and most-definitely a place of refuge from the raucous crowd of shoppers - Boon ploughed through the streets, hell-bent on escaping the noise that buzzed through his skull like a swarm of insects. He despised people, especially when they were clustered in groups – their level of annoyance increased ten-fold this way. He shoved and pushed patrons aside without so much as an apologetic utterance, his mood worsened by the knowledge that he was currently being tracked down by a thief with a dispute to settle with him. The last thing he wanted right now was to be found here by her and somehow humiliated again in the midst of a crowd. At last, he came upon a shop that was notably emptier than the rest. The Mask shop was not frequented very often – its items were unusual and not exactly practical. Without wasting another minute in the streets, Boon entered the shop with little regard to its contents. He walked through the cluttered store and observed the strange masks for only a moment, until something else caught his attention. "Hey, you there!" He addressed a scruffy-looking boy ahead of him, who was obviously up to no-good. His appearance screamed ‘thief’, and Boon, being the presumptuous man he was, fully accepted this stereotype as the truth. He reached over and grabbed the boy’s collar, halting him where he stood. "What do you think you're doing here? These masks are not free, as it were..."

King stood frozen in silence. Growing annoyed by the second, he remained motionless and expressionless. There was, without a doubt, a hand touching his royal person without permission. Something he most certainley could not tolerate.
Still motionless with his back turned to the offender, he finally grinned as a floorboard creaked wearily. He remained umoving, waiting with an irritated smile on his face. And suddenly he broke the silence all at once. He turned around in an abrupt instance, with a mask glued to his face. An executioner's mask, which was much too big for him, as most of the masks in the vicinity were.
"Ahah!" he yelled, laughing triumphantly. And in one swift motion, swung his leg randomly in the direction of the person behind him. His kick had landed successfully on his target, and in particular, it landed right in between his legs.
