Unsure of what to do, Queen haunted the town square, watching people pass by. Those who caught her stare looked away and walked faster, unnerved by her wide eyes and concentration. She glared at a snobbish businessman who'd turned up his nose at her and tucked herself into a corner of the square, bored. Queen looked over to Jimmy, watching him devour a fly carcass. "Maybe I should eat something too..." she thought aloud, in her quiet, whispery voice. Sighing, she decided against it and continued her silent staring contest with the passersby.

Happily wandering away from an old man's home after transporting him across town with his packages, Sebastian paused while enjoying his candies, his reward, and briefly remembered something about the Delivery Service, but dismissed it just as quickly. He shook his head to clear away his muddled mind and managed to drop a few of the brightly wrapped candies on the ground. As he walked on, he absently noted a child huddled in a corner, and then faintly wondered if Swaizzo would like a few and that perhaps he should drop by the Delivery Service to give Swaizzo some. He has been working so hard lately, maybe they'll cheer him up a bit. With this in mind, he slowly began heading toward the Delivery Service post in Abastecimiento.

Queen's eyes were captivated by the bright wrappers, following them as they fell. She glanced up at the stranger, hoping he wouldn't realize his mistake. He's got goggles on his head, she thought, surprised. Don't people usually wear them on their eyes? Are they at all useful that way? Fascinated, she picked up the candy and started to follow him.
She thought the goggles looked curiously familiar. Almost like I've seen him before... she mused as she dodged around various people. She dismissed the feeling quickly and resumed watching the strange gryphon.

Takashi looked around the busy area slowly. He had just wandered into this town per chance he could find some money. He stood quietly in a somewhat less busy area, hoping he wouldn't have to approach anyone and someone would automatically ask for his help. He let out a small sigh and leaned against the post behind him, shoving his hands in his pockets.

With his sensitive hearing, Sebastian's ears twitched with curiosity when he noticed the same set of footsteps following him from one of the smaller alleyways. From the sound of the footfalls, Sebastian deduced that it was a young girl whatever the age, seemed to be very light. Not wanting to scare his quiet follower, he slowed down near the little old lady's house where he was fed homemade treats regularly.

Seeing the gryphon slow down, Queen ducked behind a corner and sat underneath a fire escape. She looked around the corner and stared at him for about a minute, in case he decided to speed up again. She then turned back and examined the candy she'd picked up, once again admiring the bright wrappers. Queen picked one out and unwrapped it meticulously, taking care to preserve the waxy paper.
As she chewed, she caught sight of a youth leaning against a post, Never seen him...he must be new in town... She watched him for a bit, taking in his black, white-tipped hair, black and white costume, and sword slung onto his back. I'll find out more about him if I see him again, She thought to herself, storing his image in her memory as she turned back to watch her gryphon.
Done resting, Queen got back on her feet and resumed staring at her previous target. She wondered what business the gryphon had at the aromatic house.

Sebastian stopped in front of the house with cream coloured stucco walls and yellow accent stones worn down in a few places with age. He placed the half full bag of candy on the little cafe-like coffee table and glanced at the sunny sky, Good day for a little flying I think.
He then poked his head inside the open door and called out his greetings to the old woman who lived there. She insisted he call her Grandma. After being heartily invited inside and fussed over, he was ordered to help out in the kitchen with the threat of having no less than seconds of course.
She was making fettuccini alfredo with home-grown salad and fresh garlic bread, and the cause of much excitement, apple crumble pie for dessert. He finished carrying the dishes to the table set up in the backyard and then told Grandma he'd be back.
Stepping out the front door a bit and noting the bag of candy, 'Bastian called out gently, "You can come out now little one, Grandma and I would be very happy if you came to have lunch with us." Having issued his invitation to coax out his shy follower, he sat down in front of the door to wait.

She watched as the gryphon went about his business in the house, noting how comfortable he was with the place. He's been here before, though I don't think he was expected. I wonder what he's doing here, lunch perhaps..? Queen thought silently. She let that thought trail off when the gryphon reappeared at the front door.
Queen started when he called out, realizing the gryphon was addressing her. She hesitated to leave, as Queen avoided confrontations with others as often as she could, and so debated whether or not to reveal herself. After about a minute, however, she decided it was a good chance to closely examine his headgear, perhaps find out where he obtained it. The free meal didn't sound so bad either.
Walking out of her hiding place, Queen stopped before the gryphon and stared at him silently.
